Richard Roe was 40-years-old at the time of his disappearance and was last seen on 2 November 2016.
His vehicle, a 2004 Holden Commodore station wagon, was found abandoned just south of Chinner Road on the Stuart Highway near Lake Bennett.
No one has seen or heard from him, nor has he accessed his bank accounts. There is very little information on what happened to Richard but police have serious concerns that he has met with foul play.
Investigations have linked Richard to unlawful activities and criminal associates and police suspect these interactions may have played a part in his disappearance. It is believed that there are individuals who have information that could assist this investigation.
A reward of $250,000 is on offer for information that leads to locating Richard’s body, along with the identification and conviction of any person or persons responsible for his murder. The allocation of the $250,000 reward is at the sole discretion of the Commissioner of Police. These person/s may also be eligible for immunity from prosecution.
Richard is described as being of Indigenous appearance, 175cm tall, with olive complexion and brown eyes. He usually shaved his head and has a tattoo of an eagle or dragon on his left upper arm.
